I was born in Brooklyn, New York, on 17th January 1899, I had two sisters and six brothers. My father was a barber and my mother a seamstress, both had emigrated from Italy in 1894.

I left high school at the age of 14 because of a fight with a teacher ending up doing odd jobs around Brooklyn. I also worked as a bartender when I engaged in a knife fight and my right cheek was slashed with a switch blade.

In 1918 I married an Irish girl and had a son. I later moved with my family to Chicago where it is said that I was making $100 million a year in gambling, alcohol and prostitution; I often became the target of attempted murders. I was even featured in a comic book in America and became the only real person appearing as a character in The Adventures of Tintin.

Eventually the Prohibition Bureau was able to find receipts linking me to illegal gambling income and evasion of taxes on that income and I was sentenced to eleven years in a federal prison.

Because I was still able to control most of my interests from prison, I was then transferred to the infamous of Alcatraz in August of 1934. I then begun showing signs of dementia, probably related to untreated syphilis contracted when I was as a young man. I spent the last year of my sentence in the prison hospital. I retired to my estate in Miami where I died of syphilis on 21st January 1947. Who am I?
