Andrea Booth, Proprietor and Instructor, began teaching Group Exercise to Music 20 years ago and, after taking a break during the 90's, has recently re-qualified to current UK regulatory standards. She is a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals which governs safe and effective exercise practises in UK and IDEA a counterpart in USA.
Traditional Studio Classes include Aerobics and Step for Cardio work with Body Conditioning and Abdominal sessions to strengthen and tone musculature, improve core stability, posture, and endurance. Some classes are also conducted as Circuit Training Sessions. Both Men and Women are welcome. Classes progress from a thorough Warm-up phase, through a Conditioning phase which is taught in steady progressions, gradually increasing in intensity and complexity.
This means that, irrespective of your level of fitness, you can benefit from a workout appropriate to your individual needs whilst still enjoying the experience of a group activity. With this in mind and by keeping classes small, Andrea aims to deliver a quality workout experience to all. A Cool down and Stretching phase follows every class.
From January, Yoga and Tai Chi Classes are also be offered on Wednesdays.
There are no registration or membership fees. Classes can be bought singly or in blocks of 10 at a discount. The studio is open 09.30 - 12.30/17.30 - 22.00 Monday to Friday. Advance booking is required.
