Anyone living in this area would have been hard-pushed not to have noticed the enormous growth of cruise activity through the port of Malaga. As Malaga has blossomed into a major art and tourism centre, several cruise operators now schedule the city as a turnaround point for their ships. This brings huge and valuable benefits to the city both in terms of tourism and commerce.
The growth has been so fast that many are unaware of the exciting travel opportunities being offered from the port just down the road. Apart from cruising the Mediterranean, there are frequent offerings going west as far as the Caribbean and beyond.
The Cruise Market will be working with most cruise companies but will concentrate on a handful of specialised operators. We hope to offer the unique and often the unusual, always at unbeatable prices. You can always expect something different as our number one priority is you make our cruise holiday offers different, exciting and keenly priced.
We will always offer cruise departures from Malaga where they are available.
The small boutique ship, the Aegean Odyssey is one of our favourites. She offers a cruise together with land packages, onboard lecturers and a selection of unique itineraries that makes for a totally new and fresh approach to cruise holidays.
And then there’s the Regent Seven Seas, Explorer, which is arguably the most luxurious cruise ship in the world. Everything from excursions to champagne is included –
the ship is the epitome of luxury with no fine detail missed. The passenger to staff ratio is 1.5 to 1. Cabins don’t exist on the Explorer, they are all suites with private balcony.
The jaw dropping beauty of the Star Clipper fleet is also turning heads in this part of the world. Their 4 and 5 mast clippers regularly visit Malaga and we have some great cruises on offer aboard the Star Flyer and the Royal Flyer during 2018.
The Cruise Market’s Managing Director, John Deverell has spent more than 45 years in the travel industry, having owned and operated several successful tour perations
in Canada, the UK, France and South Africa. While enjoying a calm, easy life in a delightful hilltop village, “I couldn’t help but force myself out of retirement when I realised that there is a travel revolution happening on my doorstep and no single travel company is servicing the pent-up demand”. So an easy retirement will have to wait – there’s work to be done!
how do you find out about cruises going out of Malaga as your sites seem to advertise every thing (but the info I require) hope to hear from you if you get this e-mail David
