Lobster Risotto with White Wine, Mustard and Passion Fruit

If you would like to impress your family and friends, this risotto with lobster wil definitely do the trick. The passion fruit juice gives it that special touch!


• 1 pound lobster tail
• 5 ounces mushrooms, sliced
• 1/2 cup dry white wine
• 3 tablespoons mustard
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
• 1/2 medium onion, chopped
• 2 cups risotto rice
• 1/2 cup passion fruit juice
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• Salt and pepper to taste



  1. Heat olive oil, sauté garlic and onion until brown.
  2. Add lobster, cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Add salt, pepper, wine, mustard, passion fruit juice and mushrooms.
  4. When boiling, reduce heat to low, put the lid on and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Add rice and 2 1/2 cups of water. Cook partially covered until water has almost evaporated.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese, cover and serve after 5 minutes
