It may be of interest to know that that Les Roches Marbella also offers 2 postgraduate programs of 1 year duration: the Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality Management which is intended for university graduates (business studies, tourism, hospitality, etc.) or professionals aiming to further specialise in the hospitality industry and fast track their education in this field. Intakes start in January and August of each year. Additionally, the Postgraduate Diploma in Golf Management starting each January is geared to university graduates or professionals with a minimum of five years experience in the golf industry. Craft-based learning forms an integral part of the Les Roches Marbella curriculum helping studentsto develop their full professional potential, constant practical work is one of the greatest added values at the school. In addition, students undergo an obligatory 6 month internship in the hospitality industry after each academic semester.
These internships are coordinated by the schools Career Development Department and range from 6 to 18 months depending on the program of study. Les Roches Marbella has numerous collaboration agreements with hotels and hospitality establishments worldwide as well as golf resorts and golf courses and invite the most prominent to the school to carry out in-situ recruitment for the positions available. On average, every student receives two offers of employment per semester and year after year graduates are placed in establishments spreading over forty countries.
Additional employment opportunities are also available through the Alumni Association, of which 1,800 Les Roches Marbella graduates are currently members with eighty percent of them active within the international tourist sector.
