ItÂ’s Spring 2010! At last!

Spring 2010 will be the first season when the worldÂ’s fashion designers have the opportunity to properly forge a way out of the economic downturn which has greatly affected their bottom line throughout 2009. Expect a lot of designers to aim for safety; with all the cuts youÂ’d expect of a Spring/Summer season heavily mixed with 2010 fashion trends.

2010 will be an exciting year for fashion; experts predict that weÂ’ll emerge from the global financial crisis and, as a result, we can expect to see a new standard of fashion rise up.

 

◄ Are your Pilate classes paying off? Fashion designer Peter Dundas certainly hopes so, at least thatÂ’s the impression that you might get from the Emilio Pucci Spring 2010 catwalk. Dundas turned to Abbey Lee Kershaw to show off his interpretation of the exposed stomach and one shoulder fashion trends.

 

 


With heavy lashings of denim and leather that evoke the American West, the reactions to the debut of D&GÂ’s Spring 2010 collection have been mixed. Look closer, however, and youÂ’ll find all the quality and detailing you would otherwise expect of the duo.

Ralph LaurenÂ’s interpretation of the use of denim for spring 2010 is characteristically distinctive.

Over the knee boots made more than one appearance at Milan Fashion Week. This look was spotted, with the boots scrunched down, outside the Gucci Spring 2010 catwalk.
For women that ‘stand out’ look is just about to get a whole lot easier thanks to the hottest trend for shoes in 2010: thigh high boots.

GucciÂ’s idea of spring 2010 appears to contrast the others.

And when it comes to the men’s catwalk, Gucci’s desfilé certainly seems to complement what the girls wear.
