Enligh International Academy helping to beat the recession

With no inscription fee and reduced tuition fees for all levels, there has never been a better time to enrol at the English International AcademyÂ…

Â…and, as many parents have already taken advantage of this offer, classes are rapidly filling up.

The Primary School is bright and colourful with its own facilities, including separate entrance and playground exclusively for the ´little ones´, heated indoor swimming pool and a dedicated, friendly, qualified teaching staff who strive to ensure that ‘every child mattersÂ’. To help the working parent, even more, free after school activities such as the greatly successful ‘Cookery ClubÂ’ and ‘Cinema ClubÂ’ are on offer from September. The curriculum, based on the English curriculum, includes daily Spanish language, one to one Literacy, weekly swimming lessons, music lessons and PE with specialist teachers. Year 6 children are integrated into the Secondary school during the last few weeks of the summer term and enjoy classes such as Chemistry in the Science Lab and Art and Design alongside the year 7 pupils to ensure a stress-free move come September.

The Secondary School is the only school in Spain where students can choose between a regular curriculum of GCSE subjects or a Sports Curriculum where they will study towards GCSE whilst training to become a fully qualified assistant Gym Instructor. The Sports Curriculum has recently been expanded and now includes up to eight GCSE subjects alongside the NVQ level One. Students on this curriculum can continue on to Sixth Form to achieve Level 2 Gym Instructor and finally Level 3 Advanced Gym Instructor / Personal Trainer which is a professional qualification accepted in Fitness Centres, Gyms, Spas, Cruise Ships, etc, worldwide. On the Sports Curriculum, years 12 and 13 are dedicated exclusively to NVQ Levels 1 and 2.

However, the NVQ/A Level curriculum allows students to choose from a wide range of A Level subjects to enhance the above qualifications. Finally, for the students who have been studying on the regular curriculum, there is wide range of subjects at A Level including English, Mathematics, Business Studies, History, Psychology, Spanish and Art. As in the Primary, free after-school activities are scheduled for each day during the forthcoming Autumn Term.

With tuition fees starting as low as 1,200 Euros for Reception classes, discounts given for the second and third child and savings of between 2,000 and 3,000 Euros per annum compared with other International Schools, more and more prospective students are looking to enrol over the summer months.
