Having made a food review at the Pappardella restaurant in the Puerto Deportivo de Estrepona a few months ago, I am certain that whoever followed the recommendations will have discovered that truly this is one of the very few really Italian restaurants of the Costa del Sol. If you did not see the review and you do like Italian food, visiting La Pappardella is an absolute must.
The restaurant has come a long way from its first opening in Old Brompton Road, London, over twenty years ago. The long history of success was followed with the opening of La Pappardella in Puerto Banus and later at the port of Estepona.
It is of little wonder that all 3 restaurants are almost always full at the peak hour, the combination of quality food with excellent service and reasonable prices make this restaurant a favourite spot for most people.
The news is that Franco and Angelo have now opened yet another La Pappardella, this time at the Laguna Village, which is next to the Kempinski Hotel.
There is something very special about this new location. The view of the open Mediterranean in the background, the clean calm water pool around the restaurant, the small bridge over the water, the whole ambience adds an exquisite sense of luxury and even romance to what has made this chain of restaurants so popular.
I can only congratulate owners Franco and Angelo, not only is their new restaurant an excellent Italian restaurant, but it is clearly run with pride and the sole object of pleasing all their customers.
