Mediterranean Favourite Creepers

A choice of Mediterranean Creepers for your garden, these will provide a valuable cut out and keep reference for the keen gardener

Jeepers Creepers

Creepers have a special place in the garden, they can be used to cover unsightly walls or can be trained to grow of gazebos and pergolas, providing shade and an attractive area under which to dine or spend time relaxing in the garden.

Golden Trumpet
Vigorous fast growing with large yellow trumpet flowers.

Bougainvillea
Vigorous woody climber with thorns, colours red, pink, orange, magenta and cream.  Very hardy and an absolute joy in summer with their profusion of colour.

Moonflower, Angels Trumpet or Dame De Noche
Can be trained as a creeper, grey green leaves, pendant trumpet flowers white or cream.  Heavily scented at night.

Bignonia Cherere or Mexican Blood Trumpet
A climber which has large clusters of flowers in bright shades of red.  Flowers in summer.

Laxiflora
Flowers opening in purple then fading to nearly white growing up to 8cm across.  Flowers in summer.
Morning Glory
Large tunnel shaped flowers, deep purple pink with pale yellow throats.  Grow easily and can be used to cover and old fence along the boundary of the garden.
Jasmine
Evergreen, flowers yellow, white and green, scented and will grow in semi shade or full sun.  Ideal to plant near the house or a terrace, wonderful perfume and very attractive.
Ivy
High climbing evergreen creeper, clings to rough surfaces, wind resistant and hardy.
Plumbago
Producing masses of powder, blue flowers in summer.  Feed and water well it will give a long lasting supply of flowers which are highly attractive
