Other Half - Cert 15
Danny Dyer

Just how far would one man go to watch England Play football? One woman (Gillian Kearney) finds herself on her honeymoon in Lisbon
during an international football competition, she must decide whether her new husband manipulated her and the situation, just
to be there for the England game... or not....

Kwaidan (Ghost Story)  -Cert 15
Rentaro Mikuni
A Winner of the special jury prize at Cannes, Kwaidan features four
distinct stories. “BlackHair”: A poor samurai who divorces his true love to marry for money, but finds the marriage disastrous and
returns to his old wife, only to discover something eerie about her. “The Woman in the Snow”: Stranded in a snowstorm, a woodcutter meets an icy spirit in the form of a woman who spares his life on the condition that he never tell anyone about her. A decade later
he forgets his promise. “Hoichi the Earless”: Hoichi is a blind musician, living in a monastery who sings so well that a ghostly imperial court commands him to perform the epic ballad of their death battle for them. But the ghosts are draining away his life, and
the monks set out to protect him by writing a holy mantra over his body to make him invisible to the ghosts. But theyÂ’ve forgotten somethingin in his cup of tea:  a writer tells the story of a man who keep seeing a mysterious face reflected.

Walk the line - Cert 12
Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon
star in this portrayal of the tough, skinny guitar-slinger who called himself J.R. Cash when he walked into the soon-to-be-famous Sun Studios in 1955 Memphis. It was a moment that would have an indelible effect on American culture. With his driving freight-train chords, steel-eyed intensity and a voice as deep and black as night, Cash sang blistering songs of
heartache and survival that were gutsy, full of real life and unlike anything heard before. That day kicked off the electrifying early career of Johnny Cash. As he pioneered a fiercely original sound that blazed a trail for rock, country, punk, folk and rap stars to come,
Cash began a rough-and-tumble journey of personal transformation. In the most volatile period of his life, he evolved from a self-destructive pop star into the iconic ‘Man in BlackÂ’ - facing down his demons, fighting for the love that would save him time and again, and learning how to walk the razor-thin line between destruction and redemption.
