A cardiologist died and was given an elaborate funeral. A huge red velvet heart covered in flowers stood behind the coffin during the service. Following the eulogy, the heart opened and the cardiologist’s coffin rolled into it, sealing him inside forever.
The mourners were so moved at this beautiful moment, exept one who burst into gales of laughter.
When confronted he apologised. “Im sorry, I was just thinking of my own funeral. I’m a gynecologist”.
After a long night of making love to his girlfriend, a man notices a photo of another man on her bedside table. He begins to worry. ! “is that your husband?” he asks nervously.
“No, silly” she replies, snuggling up to him.
“Another boyfriend then?” he continues.
“Not at all” she says, nibbling on his ear.
“Is it your dad or your brother then?” he says, hoping to be reassured.
“No, no, no!” she answers.
“Well, who the hell is it then?” he demands.
“That’s me before the surgery”

A woman is pulled up by a traffic policeman, he asks to see her licence, “ It says here you should wear glasses” says the policeman.
“I do have contacts”, she replies.
“I don’t care who you know” says the cop, you are still getting a ticket!

Last summer I went on a fishing trip, I came across a capsized boat, after rescuing the people from the stricken vessel and hauling them onto my own boat, they were so grateful that they offered to repay me.
“That’s OK”  I replied we’re all in the same boat!

THE QUIZ - Who am I?

Name this person and WIN a meal for 2 (Value €50) at Restaurante El Barlovento, now moved to Hotel Las Camelias, in Torreguadiaro, at entrance to Puerto Sotogrande. Fax: 952 893 146 or e-mail by 4th October. The first correct answer to be drawn will be the winner.

I am an American country music singer, known for the sincerity of my singing and my deep bass voice. My birthplace was Kingsland, Arkansas. After graduating from high school I began working in an automobile factory in Detroit, Michigan. In 1950 I joined the United States air force where I formed a band and published poetry in the military newspaper “Stars and Stripes”. After leaving the air force in 1954 I moved to Memphis Tennessee, to work in the music business.
During the next few years I led a chaotic life and became addicted to drugs, but at the same time I developed what was considered one of the most polished touring shows in country music history. In 1968 I married June Carter, a member of a traditional country music band that sang on my tours.

LAST MONTH’S WINNER WAS: Bill Smith  from Duquesa (Marbella) - (Answer: Guglielmo Marconi)
