Do you really know your size?

Do you really know your size?

With Christmas fast approaching and parties to go to, now is the time to make the best of that new dress youÂ’ve been dying to wear and measure up!

We do tend to forget that bras are an essential part of our wardrobe, and if you do not wear the correct size, or as near as you can get it, the shape of your bust will be spoilt which in turn will ruin the shape of the clothes you are wearing. A good fit will also improve your posture. It really does not do you any favours when youÂ’re either bulging out of the top and sides or falling out!

The best way to find out your correct bra size is to go to a lingerie department where they will measure you, but as not all departments have this facility it is always good to know how to do it yourself. This is how to find out your UK size and then below there is a converter to identify the corresponding Spanish size.

Firstly put on your best fitting bra, and using a soft tape-measure measure in inches around your back at the lowest part of the bra you are wearing and under your bust. If the measurement is an even number add on 4 inches, if it is odd add on 5 inches. This will give you your band size.

Next, measure around the fullest part of your breasts. This will give you your bust size. To find your cup size, take away the band size from your bust size. If they are both the same your cup size is A, if there is a difference of 1 inch your cup size is B, 2 inches C, 3 inches D and so on.
