GRAPES VARIETY: 100% Tempranillo
ALCOHOL: 13% Vol.
TO THE EYE: Red cherry colour with violet glints. Thick layer.
TO THE PALATE: In the mouth it gives a fleshy sensation, slow and with good acidity. It follows with an intense creamy sensation and ripe tannins with a well balanced fruit flavour, especially well rounded. The tannins are sweet on the tooth and long, with hints of roasted light coffee.
AGEING: After a malolactic fermentation which is made with the lees, the wine is kept in new French and American oak barrels for at least four months.
AROMA: On the nose we get a tingle of forest fruits such as blackberries and blueberries, toasted flavours from the new oak barrels with sweet, spicy notes (black pepper). We also notice clear balsamic hints, resulting in great freshness.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18º C.
