The artist, Lars Persson, was born in 1962 in the Swedish coastal town of Gävle. A full-time artist for the last ten years, mainly as a painter, he has also expressed himself in other art forms. His big passion is colour, he paints what he wants to express, in preference abstarctively.

Lars Persson is an explorer, it can be seen in his creations. He has had some twenty exhibitions in Sweden and Spain. He works mostly with oil on canvas, he has used other materials.

Although Lars lives with his family in Sweden, he has spent some two years in Fuengirola, where he always comes back to. You may visit Lars at his website, www.lars.persson.just.nu 

On Sunday the 24th, between 5.00 and 6.00 pm, the wine tasting will take place under the guidance of Morgan Skantz, one of Scandinavia´s leading experts on Spanish wine.

Modern Spanish Wine invites you to taste a selection of wines from different regions and of different styles. Morgan will demonstrate why the world’s leading experts seem to agree upon the fact that Spain is the most interesting wine country in the world today.
