Clarke dismayed by honours snub
Darren Clarke has criticized Britain’s honours decision- makers for snubbing Europe’s 2004 Ryder Cup winning team.
Clarke’s Ryder Cup team-mate Paul McGinley of Ireland said he cannot understand why six time major winner Nick Faldo has not been knighted.
“It’s a crying shame, perhaps the people who give out these honours don’t play golf” Ulsterman Clarke told the Sunday Express.
“It’s a shame Nick and our sport are ignored in this way” said McGinley.

Teen sensation to join team early
The ladies professional golf association has reversed its earlier ruling and given Morgan Pressel a 2006 tour cad before her 18th birthday.
