Cheltenham will honor best mate.
Edward Gillespie, the managing director of Cheltenham racecourse, has told the BBC that they already have plans to honor the racing legend Best Mate.
The 3 times gold cup winner died last month during his seasonal debut at Exeter. The Gloucestershire track already has an enclosure named after the great horse.
“Having a statue would certainly be a natural way of celebrating his contribution to the sport” Edward Gillespie told the BBC.

Defender Cole out until January.
Arsenal has confirmed that Ashley Cole’s broken foot will keep him out of action for the rest of the year. The news is a blow to boss Arsene Wenger, who had hoped to have the 24 year old back in action in December. Arsenal are now without a recognized  left back, as Coles replacement Gael Clichy, will be out for at least 3 months with an identical injury.

Half century milestone for Botham.
Ian Botham, one of English crickets greatest players, is celebrating another milestone.
The former all-rounder, known as “Beefy”, turned 50 last month and to mark the occasion the English team, on tour in Pakistan penned him a special message.
It reads “Congratulations Ian, this must be one of your slower 50s”.

Man United boss jealous of Chelsea.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says he is jealous of Chelsea’s defense after seeing his side held to a 1-1 draw at home by Everton. United are 12 points behind the Blues with a game in hand and Ferguson admits they must learn to win games 1-0 
Lewis rules out Klitschko rematch.
Lennox Lewis has dashed any hopes of a boxing comeback by saying that he has no intention of risking his legacy in a fight with Ukrainian Vitali Klitschko.
Klitschko retired in November, but said he would consider a rematch with former heavyweight champion Lewis.
Real admit interest in Keane deal.
Real Madrid say they are considering signing ex- Manchester United captain Roy Keane, but have denied reports that he has already passed a medical. The 34 year old has been heavily linked to a move to Spain and he could be given a six month deal at the Bernabeu.
