Trying to put this right has been impossible unless one send an email disclosing oneÂ’s own information or using your Google or Facebook account allowing them to obtain details of all your contacts.
If eventually you find a phone number you then discover how uninterested they really are in correcting their business destroying information and just simply ignore your request to correct.
Search for Italian restaurants in BenahavĂs. You know what? Tripadvisor shows there are 3, a complete lie. They are restaurants all right but far from Italian. This is pure deception.
Have a look at http://tripadvisor-warning.com/share/tripadvisor-hopes-we-are-allidiots-including-you . It is a very interesting website where you find comments like the following:
Italy fines TripAdvisor €500,000 (£392,000 / US$600,000) over false reviews – It is very clear that TripAdvisor has no way of detecting fake reviews and / or damaging lies. Yet again TripAdvisor shows it has ZERO ways to safeguard the listings that are “Forced” onto their site, but is completely open to devastating abuse against establishment owners.
YES I did agree to your Terms and Conditions, and YES I did know there was a non refundable ONE Night fee in your cancelation policy, however I only booked 12 hours ago, I now need to cancel.. If you donÂ’t give me a FULL refund, I will post horrible REVIEWS on TripAdvisor, and will have my friends & family do the sameÂ…
TripAdvisor Warning: We are a small group of 9 people that are tired of the way TripAdvisor chooses to conduct their business, mainly because of the total lack of consideration towards “owners” in the hospitality world. We are based in the USA, Europe and New Zealand. TripAdvisor hopes we are all idiots including YOU. And lots, lots more, check it out.
The moral of the story is that Tripadvosr is a fake, they could not careless if their information is false or damaging as long as they make their own money at the expense of everyone else.
If you are a restaurant, do not be so proud to promote what they say about you, it may be false, who would believe it?. If you are a consumer do you really want to be mislaid by biased and even unqualified opinions?
